I’ve spoken here of the need for white folks to get on the front lines for a long time since the problem is of their doing. Since Mike Brown was murdered I was especially worried about the militias and other hate groups deciding it was time to exercise their “Constitutional raht and duty” to put blacks back in their place with extreme violence. I figure if enough whites stand between these “Waco’s” and our brothers and sisters they might hesitate…maybe. People all over need to wake up. Whatever the government is willing to do to the very least of our brethren they are willing to do to all of us.
The last time Frank Rich had a conversation with Chris Rock was in early 1996, when they and the 1950s teen heartthrob Pat Boone were thrown together in a New York television studio as panelists on Bill Maher’s old show Politically Incorrect. Jon Stewart has said the reason Fox News works better than CNN is because the people at Fox News figured out how to make themselves into victims.
